Già Bridgestone Museum of Art, l’Artizon Museum ha riaperto nel 2020 all’interno del Museum Tower Kyobashi, sul sito dell’ex sede centrale di Bridgestone. Nato dalla collezione del fondatore di Bridgestone, Ishibashi Shojiro, il museo custodisce circa 3.000 opere, dall’arte antica all’Impressionismo francese (Monet, Renoir, Degas, Cezanne), dalla pittura giapponese moderna di stile occidentale all’arte contemporanea, distribuite su tre piani espositivi. Il nome unisce “art” e “horizon” e riflette la missione del museo: mettere in relazione la creatività storica e quella contemporanea.
