La Maison Européenne de la Photographie è la principale istituzione parigina dedicata alla fotografia contemporanea, situata nell'elegante Hôtel Hénault de Cantobre (1706), nel Marais. Inaugurata nel 1996, organizza ogni anno tre o quattro cicli di esposizioni, attingendo a una collezione di circa 20.000 opere e ospitando importanti mostre internazionali. L'edificio accoglie inoltre una biblioteca di 24.000 volumi, un auditorium, un caffè e una sala di visione video.
