John Constable: views of nature

Marking the 250th anniversary of Constable's birth, this display in Room 90a presents drawings, sketches and mezzotints from his late career, drawn largely from an 1888 donation by his daughter Isabel — showing his lifelong engagement with the landscapes of rural England.
