La casa lisbonese dell’imprenditore e collezionista António de Medeiros e Almeida (1895-1986), lasciata alla nazione come casa-museo attraverso la fondazione da lui istituita nel 1972. L’Ala antica, rimasta intatta, conserva gli ambienti della coppia, mentre l’Ala nuova, costruita all’inizio degli anni Settanta sopra il giardino, espone circa 2.000 oggetti distribuiti in 27 sale. Tra i pezzi più importanti figurano un orologio da notte del Seicento realizzato da Edward East, appartenuto un tempo a Catherine of Braganza, una brocca della prima epoca Ming con lo stemma di re Manuel I, otto paesaggi di Jan van Goyen e orologi da tasca Breguet.
