Dia Chelsea ist der New Yorker Standort der Dia Art Foundation und befindet sich in einer Reihe verbundener ehemaliger Lagerhäuser an der West 22nd Street, die 2021 renoviert wiedereröffnet wurden. Bei seiner ersten Eröffnung 1987 war es das erste Kunstmuseum in Chelsea und trug maßgeblich dazu bei, das Viertel in ein weltweit bekanntes Galerieviertel zu verwandeln. Anstatt eine feste Sammlung zu präsentieren, zeigt Dia Chelsea tiefgehende, langfristige Ausstellungen, die jeweils einem oder zwei Künstlern gewidmet sind, begleitet von Performances, Lesungen und öffentlichen Programmen.
