Das Musikmuseum der Stadt Barcelona befindet sich seit 2007 im zweiten Stock des Konzertsaals L'Auditori. Rund 500 der mehr als 2.200 Instrumente sind auf einem Rundgang zu sehen, der vom Mittelalter über die moderne Pop- und Rockmusik bis zu Musikkulturen anderer Kontinente führt. Zu den Höhepunkten zählen eine der bedeutendsten Sammlungen klassischer Gitarren weltweit mit Instrumenten von Antonio de Torres, außerdem das Zell-Cembalo (1736) und ein balinesisches Gamelan. Audiovisuelle und interaktive Stationen begleiten den Rundgang; in einem abschließenden Saal können Besucherinnen und Besucher selbst Instrumente ausprobieren.
