El National Museum of Western Art (NMWA) és la galeria nacional del Japó dedicada a l’art occidental, creada a partir de la col·lecció de l’industrial Kojiro Matsukata. El seu Main Building, acabat el 1959, va ser dissenyat per Le Corbusier amb els arquitectes japonesos Kunio Maekawa i Junzo Sakakura, i el 2016 va ser inscrit a la llista del Patrimoni Mundial de la UNESCO com a part de «The Architectural Work of Le Corbusier». La col·lecció abasta la pintura i l’escultura occidentals des de l’edat mitjana fins a principis del segle XX, i inclou obres destacades de l’impressionisme i de Rodin, exposades a l’esplanada d’entrada.
