يقع Museo Cerralbo داخل قصر مدريدي فاره شيده الماركيز السابع عشر لـ Cerralbo في ثمانينيات وتسعينيات القرن التاسع عشر لعرض مجموعاته الخاصة. لم يطرأ على القصر أي تغيير يُذكر منذ افتتاحه للجمهور عام 1944؛ إذ لا يزال يحتفظ باللوحات والدروع واللقى الأثرية والمسكوكات والفنون الزخرفية تماماً كما رتبها الماركيز بنفسه في صالوناته المذهبة، وقاعة الرقص، والمكتبة. يقدم المتحف تجربة حميمية تأسر الألباب ككبسولة زمنية فريدة، تشكل تبايناً ساحراً مع متاحف مدريد الوطنية الكبرى.
