National Folk Museum of Korea创立于1945年,1993年迁至Gyeongbokgung Palace园区内的现址,梳理从史前时代到20世纪普通韩国人的生活、劳作与节庆。馆藏文物逾98,000件,设有三个常设展厅,展现季节性习俗与人生重要阶段;户外展区则陈列村庄祠堂和传统民居。馆内设有专门的Children's Museum,并持续举办丰富的特别展览,是首尔最适合家庭参观的国家级博物馆之一,且免费入场。
