SONGEUN to niezależna, niedochodowa przestrzeń sztuki współczesnej, założona w 1989 roku przez SONGEUN Art and Cultural Foundation, by wspierać wschodzących artystów z Korei. Jej wyrazista siedziba o trójkątnej bryle w dzielnicy Cheongdam-dong, zaprojektowana przez Herzog & de Meuron i ukończona w 2021 roku, była pierwszym zrealizowanym projektem szwajcarskiej pracowni w Korei. Flagowa nagroda fundacji, SONGEUN Art Award, od 2001 roku wspiera współczesnych artystów koreańskich, a betonowa fasada budynku o fakturze słojów drewna przywołuje znaczenie jego nazwy: „Ukryta Sosna”.
