Curated by Edward Enninful, a major show on how 1990s British art, fashion and photography fused into one cultural force, with Hirst, Lucas, McQueen, Westwood and Teller.

For Bottom Wallpaper, Abigail Lane's model sat on an ink-pad chair and then pressed herself onto rolls of wallpaper. The repeated print now covers a gallery wall here, and Lane calls it "a kind of artistic mooning".

The show is curated by Edward Enninful, the former British Vogue editor, from his own memory of the decade. It mixes photography by Juergen Teller, Corinne Day and David Sims, art by Steve McQueen, Damien Hirst, Sarah Lucas and Yinka Shonibare, and clothes by Vivienne Westwood, Alexander McQueen and John Galliano, plus club and music culture. Jim Lambie's Zobop, concentric stripes of coloured vinyl tape, covers a floor. Born after 1995? This is the decade older colleagues won't stop going on about, now with wall labels.

The £5 smartphone audio guide has Enninful talking you through it, but bring your own headphones. Tate's content warning lists strong language, drug references and a graphic depiction of violent death, and one room has flashing lights.

  • Fiorucci Made Me Hardcore

Mark Leckey's 1999 cut of found VHS footage runs from northern soul clubs to acid house raves; he calls it a "ghost film".

  • Westwood's Anglomania tartan

A look from her autumn/winter 1993 collection mixes kilts, riding hats and 18th-century French silhouettes.

  • The Swing (after Fragonard)

Yinka Shonibare's headless swinging woman wears a gown of Dutch wax fabric, a product of colonial trade.

  • Steve McQueen's Bear

A silent 1993 film of two naked men, one of them McQueen, circling between aggression and tenderness.

  • Jim Lambie's Zobop

Vinyl-tape stripes traced inward from the room's edges, named after bebop, until the floor seems to move.
