Group exhibition by the artists' collective [ materialistin ], highlighting new forms of collective practice and solidarity.

Gehiago: Berlin

First you meet a giant furry worm with human hands and eyes. Charlotte Alex of Berlin Art Link found Theresa Rothe's Me as a Worm "at once cute and soft-looking, yet also uncanny and strange," and thought of the meme: would you still love me if I were a worm?

That entrance room holds one work by each of the eight Leipzig sculptors in [ materialistin ]. Each artist then gets her own zone, over 60 works in all. You pass Agnes Lammert's hanging nests of steel wire and coconut fibre to reach Lucy König's steel table, set with plates carved into marble while herbs, cabbage and strawberries grow around it. Plates nobody can wash: finally, a table that settles the WG dishes rota.

Alex wrote that the works seem to beckon you to touch them. Entry is €16 (€8 concessions, under-18s free), Thursdays until 20:00. Artist-led tours, included with entry, leave the foyer on 8 November, 24 January and 14 February: 12:00 in German, 13:00 in English.

Ez galdu

  • Me as a Worm (Theresa Rothe)

Look for the monumental furry worm with human hands and eyes in the entrance room, soft enough to look cuddly and odd enough to keep you at a distance.

  • blossom and imprint (Lucy König)

A long galvanised-steel table laid with plates, glasses and cutlery carved into marble, with herbs, vegetables and medicinal plants growing between them under grow lights and a watering system pattering softly.

  • Murmuration (Agnes Lammert, 2026)

Connected hollow forms of welded steel wire and coconut-fibre fabric hang free in the room, modelled on hornets' nests and weaver birds' communal nests, with openings to peer inside.

  • cramps I-V (Theresa Rothe)

Five pink silicone, sausage-shaped beings with expressions of quiet concern, part of Rothe's walk-in installation of tiles, curtains and platforms.

  • my crying is older than me (Enne Haehnle, 2026)

A sentence in white neon glass glowing on the wall in Haehnle's zone, which closes the show along with her spatial drawing in forged steel and black-annealed wire.
