Das Whanki Museum ist ein privates Kunstmuseum im Seouler Stadtteil Buam-dong. Es wurde 1992 von der Whanki Foundation gegründet, um das Vermächtnis von Kim Whanki (1913-1974), einem der Pioniere der koreanischen abstrakten Kunst, zu bewahren. Der Architekt Kyu Sung Woo entwarf die terrassenförmig angelegten Betongalerien, in denen rund 2.500 Werke die Entwicklung des Künstlers nachzeichnen – von frühen figurativen Gemälden bis zu den leuchtenden Punktkompositionen seiner New Yorker Zeit. Neben der ständigen Sammlung zeigt das Museum wechselnde Ausstellungen zu Whankis Leben und zu zeitgenössischen Künstlerinnen und Künstlern, die mit der Whanki Foundation verbunden sind.
