Das Hangaram Art Museum ist der wichtigste Ausstellungsort für bildende Kunst im Seoul Arts Center. Es wurde 1990 in einem markanten Beton-Glas-Gebäude mit Oberlichtsystem eröffnet. In der Regel finden in seinen sechs Ausstellungshallen jährlich rund 50 Wanderausstellungen und von Jurys ausgewählte Ausstellungen statt – von Retrospektiven zu Alten Meistern bis hin zu zeitgenössischer Kunst. Seit Oktober 2025 werden die Exhibition Halls 1–6 umgebaut; Stand 2026 sind sie geschlossen. Derzeit ist nur Hall 7 für die Öffentlichkeit zugänglich. Ein Wiedereröffnungstermin für den übrigen Gebäudeteil wurde noch nicht bekannt gegeben.
