Matadero Madrid ist ein Zentrum für zeitgenössisches Schaffen in den Pavillons im Neo-Mudéjar-Stil des einstigen städtischen Schlachthofs und Viehmarkts von Madrid. Der Komplex wurde von 1911 bis 1925 nach Entwürfen des Architekten Luis Bellido errichtet und nach seiner Schließung im Jahr 1996 einer neuen Bestimmung zugeführt. Seit der Wiedereröffnung 2006 beherbergen die weitläufigen Hallen ortsspezifische Kunstinstallationen, ein Designzentrum, ein Filmarchiv, Tanz- und Musikprogramme sowie Künstlerresidenzen – ergänzt durch großzügige, frei zugängliche Innenhöfe direkt am Flussufer.
