Das Pavilhão do Conhecimento (Pavillon des Wissens) ist Portugals größtes Zentrum für Wissenschaft und Technik. Es wird von Ciência Viva auf dem ehemaligen Gelände der Expo 98 im Parque das Nações betrieben. Das im Juli 1999 eröffnete Gebäude des Architekten João Luís Carrilho da Graça, das mit dem Valmor-Preis ausgezeichnet wurde, bietet auf rund 4.000 m² Hunderte interaktive Exponate zu Physik, Mathematik, Chemie, Biologie und Sozialwissenschaften. Zu den Höhepunkten zählen der vom Exploratorium inspirierte Saal Explora, der Wissenschaftszirkus TCHARAN! für jüngere Kinder sowie ein wechselndes Programm großer temporärer Ausstellungen.
