Das Bröhan-Museum ging aus der Privatsammlung des Unternehmers Karl H. Bröhan hervor, der seine Bestände ab 1973 zunächst in seiner Dahlemer Villa zeigte. 1983 zog das Museum in ein ehemaliges Kasernengebäude des Schlossensembles Charlottenburg um; seit 1994 ist es ein Landesmuseum des Landes Berlin. Zu den international bedeutenden Jugendstil-Beständen gehören Möbel von Hector Guimard und Louis Majorelle, Porzellan aus Meissen, Sèvres und Royal Copenhagen sowie Glaskunst von Emile Gallé und Daum. Art déco und funktionalistisches Design der 1920er- und 1930er-Jahre sowie Gemälde der Berliner Secession vervollständigen die Sammlung. Das Haus bereitet derzeit eine umfassende Sanierung vor, die im Frühjahr 2027 beginnen soll.
