CosmoCaixa ist das Wissenschaftsmuseum der Stiftung „la Caixa“ und befindet sich in einem modernistischen Gebäude am Fuß des Tibidabo. Es wurde 1981 gegründet, umgebaut und 2004 unter seinem heutigen Namen wiedereröffnet. Der Universe Room, ausgezeichnet mit dem Kenneth Hudson Award bei den European Museum of the Year Awards 2021, führt vom Urknall bis an die Grenzen des Wissens. Zum Museum gehören der Flooded Forest, ein Stück Amazonas-Regenwald mit mehr als hundert Arten, und die Geological Wall mit sieben gewaltigen Gesteinsformationen. Wechselausstellungen und ein Planetarium runden den Besuch ab.
