Amorepacific Museum of Art (APMA) va néixer de la col·lecció personal de Suh Sung-whan, fundador d’Amorepacific, que aplegava ceràmiques, peces d’artesania i teixits vinculats a les dones, la cosmètica i la cultura coreana del te. Inaugurat el 1979 amb el nom de Pacific Museum, el museu va adoptar el nom actual el 2009 i, el 2018, es va traslladar a una galeria subterrània sota la seu d’Amorepacific a Yongsan, un cub blanc minimalista dissenyat per David Chipperfield, guardonat amb el Premi Pritzker. Avui presenta un programa d’exposicions canviants que abasta des de les antiguitats coreanes fins a l’art contemporani internacional, i organitza també converses, publica llibres i ofereix residències a joves artistes i investigadors.
