El Museo del Romanticismo ocupa una casa palatina madrilenya del segle XVIII, concebuda com a casa museu pel marquès de la Vega-Inclán, qui la va inaugurar el 1924 per evocar l'àmbit domèstic del Romanticisme espanyol (aproximadament entre 1808 i 1860). Les seves sales d'època estan ambientades amb pintures, mobiliari, arts decoratives, fotografies i miniatures, entre les quals destaquen obres de Francisco de Goya, Leonardo Alenza i Federico de Madrazo. A més de la col·lecció permanent, el museu organitza regularment exposicions temporals.
