El museu d'art modern clàssic de la Nationalgalerie, originat a partir de la col·lecció del marxant Heinz Berggruen, aplega més de 100 obres de Picasso, a més de conjunts destacats de Paul Klee, Henri Matisse i Alberto Giacometti, a l'edifici occidental de Stüler, davant de Schloss Charlottenburg. El museu roman tancat des del 5 de setembre de 2022 per una reforma integral de l'edifici de Stüler, i encara no s'ha anunciat cap data de reobertura.
