El Bröhan-Museum va néixer a partir de la col·lecció privada de l'empresari Karl H. Bröhan, qui la va exposar per primer cop a la seva vil·la de Dahlem el 1973 i la va traslladar el 1983 a una antiga caserna militar integrada al conjunt del Charlottenburg Palace; des del 1994 és un museu estatal de Berlín. El seu fons d'Art Nouveau, de rellevància internacional, inclou mobles d'Hector Guimard i Louis Majorelle, porcellana de Meissen, Sèvres i Royal Copenhagen, a més de peces de vidre d'Emile Gallé i Daum. El disseny Art Déco i funcionalista dels anys vint i trenta, juntament amb la pintura de la Berlin Secession, arrodoneixen la col·lecció.
