يقع Jeu de Paume في جناح يعود إلى عهد الإمبراطورية الثانية عند الزاوية الشمالية الغربية من حدائق التويلري، وقد شُيّد في عام 1861 كملعب لتنس الصالات، ثم أُعيد تشكيله على مر العقود ليصبح صالة عرض فنية. ومنذ عام 2004 أصبح المؤسسة الفرنسية الأولى المخصصة للتصوير الفوتوغرافي والصورة المتحركة، حيث يستضيف معارض استعادية كبرى وأعمالاً معاصرة مطلوبة خصيصاً، دون أن يحتفظ بمجموعة دائمة. وقد سلّطت معارضه الفردية السابقة الضوء على أعمال Cindy Sherman وMartin Parr وWilliam Kentridge، مستقطبةً أكثر من 300,000 زائر سنوياً.
