افتتح هذا المتحف البلدي عام 1916 على يد الجامع Cruz Magalhães، في منزل شُيّد لهذا الغرض في Campo Grande، وهو مكرّس لـ Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro (1846-1905) – رسّام الكاريكاتير والرسّام ومؤسس صحيفة والخزّاف. ويضم أهم مجموعة من خزف Caldas da Rainha المطليّ، وتحتوي على نحو 1,000 قطعة، إلى جانب أكثر من 2,600 رسم أصلي. وفي يناير 2026، افتُتح معرض جديد طويل الأمد، فيما تستضيف قاعة منفصلة معارض مؤقتة تتناول الفكاهة والكاريكاتير والفن المعاصر.
