نشأ Bröhan-Museum انطلاقاً من المجموعة الخاصة لرجل الأعمال Karl H. Bröhan، الذي عرضها لأول مرة في فيلته بمنطقة Dahlem عام 1973، قبل أن ينقلها عام 1983 إلى مبنى ثكنات عسكرية سابق يشكل جزءاً من مجمع Charlottenburg Palace؛ ومنذ عام 1994 أضحى متحفاً تابعاً لولاية Berlin. وتضم مقتنياته ذات الأهمية الدولية في فن الآرت نوفو قطع أثاث من تصميم Hector Guimard وLouis Majorelle، وخزفاً من Meissen وSèvres وRoyal Copenhagen، وأعمالاً زجاجية من ابتكار Emile Gallé وDaum. كما تكتمل المجموعة بتصاميم الآرت ديكو والاتجاه الوظيفي من عشرينيات وثلاثينيات القرن العشرين، إلى جانب لوحات حركة Berlin Secession. ويستعد المتحف حالياً لعملية تجديد شاملة من المقرر أن تنطلق في ربيع عام 2027.
