teamLab Planets TOKYO è un museo d’arte digitale immersiva in cui i visitatori si muovono a piedi nudi nell’acqua alta fino alle ginocchia, attraversano sale di specchi che moltiplicano l’infinito e giardini viventi immersi nella luce delle proiezioni. Creato dal collettivo artistico teamLab insieme a DMM.com, ha aperto nel 2018 e nel gennaio 2025 è stato ampliato di una volta e mezza, con l’aggiunta delle nuove aree Athletics Forest e Catching and Collecting Forest. Non esiste un percorso espositivo fisso da osservare a distanza: il corpo diventa parte integrante di ogni opera, senza confini e in costante trasformazione.
