Hangaram Art Museum è la principale sede dedicata alle arti visive del complesso del Seoul Arts Center. Inaugurato nel 1990, si trova in un caratteristico edificio in cemento e vetro, con un sistema di copertura a lucernario. Di norma ospita circa 50 mostre itineranti e selezionate da una giuria all’anno, distribuite in sei sale espositive: dalle retrospettive dedicate ai maestri antichi alle mostre di arte contemporanea. Nel 2026, le sale espositive 1–6 sono chiuse per lavori di ristrutturazione avviati nell’ottobre 2025; al momento è aperta al pubblico soltanto la sala 7 e non è stata annunciata una data di riapertura per il resto dell’edificio.
