Pavilhão do Conhecimento (Padiglione della Conoscenza) è il più grande centro scientifico e tecnologico del Portogallo, gestito da Ciência Viva nell’area dell’ex Expo 98, a Parque das Nações. Inaugurato nel luglio 1999 in un edificio progettato dall’architetto João Luís Carrilho da Graça e vincitore del Premio Valmor, si estende su circa 4.000 m² e ospita centinaia di installazioni interattive dedicate alla fisica, alla matematica, alla chimica, alla biologia e alle scienze sociali. Tra i punti di forza figurano la sala Explora, nata dall’Exploratorium, il circo scientifico TCHARAN!, pensato per i bambini più piccoli, e un ricco programma di grandi mostre temporanee.
