Il Museu de Lisboa racconta la storia della città attraverso cinque sedi e ha il suo quartier generale al Pimenta Palace, un palazzo estivo del XVIII secolo a Campo Grande. L’esposizione permanente ripercorre lo sviluppo di Lisbona dai primi insediamenti paleolitici alla trasformazione novecentesca del Parque das Nações, attraverso mappe, plastici, dipinti, azulejos e oggetti d’uso quotidiano. Il palazzo ospita inoltre due spazi per mostre temporanee, il Black Pavilion e il Backroom, oltre a giardini con un chiosco. Le sedi consorelle sono il Roman Theatre, il Saint Anthony museum, la Casa dos Bicos e la West Tower.
