Costruita tra il 1859 e il 1860 su progetto di Edward Clarke Cabot, la Gibson House fu una delle prime residenze a sorgere sui terreni bonificati di Back Bay: una casa a schiera in stile neorinascimentale italiano, caratterizzata da facciate in arenaria e mattoni rossi.
