Il Brücke-Museum custodisce la più vasta raccolta al mondo di opere del gruppo espressionista Die Brücke, fondato da Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Erich Heckel, Karl Schmidt-Rottluff e Max Pechstein. Nato da una donazione iniziale di Schmidt-Rottluff, a cui si aggiunse un cospicuo lascito di Heckel, il museo è stato inaugurato nel 1967 in un edificio a un solo piano progettato da Werner Düttmann e immerso nel verde di Dahlem. Circa 400 tra dipinti e sculture, affiancati da migliaia di opere su carta, sono presentati a rotazione all'interno di mostre temporanee, mentre il parco circostante accoglie installazioni d'arte contemporanea e un percorso naturalistico.
