London Transport Museum

TransportHistoryChildrenClosed · Opens 10am

Housed in Covent Garden's former flower market, the London Transport Museum is far more engaging than its name might suggest. It traces how transport shaped London's growth, from the world's first underground railway to the Routemaster bus to Harry Beck's iconic Tube map. Kids love the interactive driving simulators and the chance to sit in real vehicles. The gift shop's vintage poster reproductions are genuinely covetable. Tickets are valid for a year.
